William Steely

William Steely, age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. Born on April 25, 1944, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of William A. and Mary E. Steely.

William was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bobby Ray, sister Barbara Day, and brother Carl Steely. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Sharon Steely, and his sister Wanda Guthrie. He leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, including Carl Steely Jr., Michael (Marianne) Steely, Regina (Charles) Wade, Angie (Robert) Gibbs, Christa (Rusty) Bowling, Jeanne (Bill) Feliciano, Linda Beebe, Brian (Cathy) Guthrie, Howie (Dee) Day, and Jennifer Murray.

With a love for biking, golfing, and traveling, William later found joy in painting. Known for his kind spirit, he formerly served as a trustee at Beacon Church and contributed to vacation bible school and other church projects with great enthusiasm.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, beginning at 9:30 am, with the funeral service to follow at 10:30 am at Beacon Church. A graveside service will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
