William P. Jackson, born on July 28, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was a devoted family man, a proud Army veteran, and a beloved figure in the lives of those who knew him.

William served his country with honor as an Army veteran during the Gulf War and Desert Storm, demonstrating courage and dedication that defined much of his life. His commitment to service extended beyond the military; his influence and kindness left a lasting mark on his community and loved ones.

A passionate baseball enthusiast, William found joy in coaching his children and the community. Whether on the field or off, his encouragement and support were a constant source of strength for his family.

William is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Hyon Jackson (née Chong), who stood by his side through life’s many chapters. He is also mourned by his devoted daughter, Kimberly (Chris) McCoy; his son, Joshua (Amanda) Jackson; and his cherished grandchild, Kherington McCoy. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his uncle, Doug (Barbara) Jackson, alongside a host of other family members and friends who were privileged to know him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jackson, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.

William P. Jackson’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the wonderful memories he created will continue to inspire all who had the honor of sharing in his life.
