William "Billy" Edward Ballinger, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, at the age of 64. He was born on July 27, 1961, in Covington, Kentucky.

Billy was a retired truck driver and a skilled mechanic, a profession that allowed him to use his hands and his love for tinkering on cars. He approached his work with the same passion that filled his personal life with hobbies and interests. An avid fisherman, William often found solace in the waters of Florida, where he spent countless hours casting lines and enjoying the company of nature. His love for playing the lottery and gambling also brought excitement and anticipation into his life.

Known for his playful personality, Billy was the kind of person who always kept a smile on his face. He was a true joker, effortlessly lighting up the room and ensuring that everyone around him shared in the laughter. His ability to bring joy to others was one of his most cherished traits.

Family was central to Billy's life, and he took immense pride in his role as a father and grandfather. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Renae (George Smith) Ballinger, and his son, William (Kari-Lyn) Ballinger, Jr. His legacy will continue through his cherished grandchildren: Joselynn, Jack, and Issac, as well as his great-grandchildren, Paisley and Willow. William also leaves behind his brothers, Robert Ballinger, Aaron (Autumn) Harper, and Marshall (Tonya) Harper, and his sisters, Robin (Ronnie) Reeves, Theresa York, Jennifer Harper and Peggy Hays. He is also survived by a host of other family members and friends who will remember him fondly.

Billy was predeceased by his mother, Bonnie Harper (nee Jones), his father, Bucky Ballinger, and his brother, Ray Ballinger. As we remember Billy, we honor a man whose laughter and warmth will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
