Wayne F. Gilreath

Wayne F. Gilreath, age 82, of Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born in LaFollette, Tennessee on June 12, 1943 to Garrett H. and Arlena Gilreath (nee Ellis).

He was preceded in death by his Father, Garrett H. Gilreath, Mother, Arlena Gilreath, Grandson, Aaron Gilreath, and Matthew Maverick Gilreath, Brother, Garfield Gilreath, Sister, Dorothy Sharp, Sister, Christine Heatherly, Sister, Helen McNeese, Sister, Lois Carneal.

Wayne is survived by his Son, Gregory Keith (Eula) Gilreath, Son, Matthew Erik (Rachel) Gilreath, Sr., Grandson, Donnie Sampson, Granddaughter, Apple Q. Envall, and a host of other family members and friends.

Wayne enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a big Cincinnati Reds fan. He was dedicated and devoted to his children. He was an electrician at Delco for 30 years.

Graveside Service will be 11:30 am Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Old Pleasant Run Cemetery Rte 92, Hollyhill, KY.
