Todd Detering

Todd Detering, age 56, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. Born on May 19, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, Todd was the beloved son of William and Lynn Detering (née Tonsing).

He leaves behind his cherished children, Skyler and Abigail Detering, along with his devoted parents, William and Lynn, his sister Kelly Detering, his nephew Grady Detering, and his dog Winston, and a community of family and friends who will deeply miss him. 

A talented author and illustrator, Todd created the book "Dog Years," a reminder to cherish life and embrace each moment. Known for his warm personality, Todd had a gift for bringing joy and laughter to those around him, always lighting up the room. His love for his family was paramount, and his resilient spirit was an inspiration.
