Thomas R. Dynes, aged 80, of Union, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Magnolia Springs in Florence, Kentucky. Born on July 18, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Ralph and Evelyn Dynes (née Cowden).

He is survived by his cherished wife, Kelly A. Dynes (née McLaren) of 37 wonderful years. Along with many family and friends who loved him dearly and will greatly miss him.

An honorable Air Force veteran and strong Patriot, Thomas served during the Vietnam era.  Thomas had a long career in banking and was a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser.  He retired from U.S. Bank in 2017. Thomas found joy in fishing, gardening, and tending to his yard. He had a deep love for his rescue dogs, showcasing his compassionate nature. He loved helping people and had a huge laugh that everybody loved. He proclaimed his faith, in Christ at a young age, most recently attending Grace Fellowship Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Thomas on February 19, 2026 at 11:00am at Grace Fellowship Church at 9379 Gunpowder Rd., Florence, KY 41042
