Terry Lee Cox, aged 66, of Cleves, Ohio, passed away on August 1, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 22, 1960, he was the beloved son of the late Donald and Mary Ann Cox (née Black).

Terry was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Marie Cox. He leaves behind a loving family: his son, Nicholas Cox; daughter, Kammy (Ray) Cox; grandchildren Kaden (Hailey), Kyah, Milana, Trey, Blake (Kyra), Silas, Elijah, Marlee, Lincoln, Bennett; and great-grandchildren Karmyn and Kasen. His extended family and numerous friends will fondly remember him.

His time with the Cincinnati Reds as on-field security and work with the Mounted Patrol highlighted his commitment to community service.

Terry’s sense of humor and love for life were evident in his many interests, from enjoying sports and games to engaging in creative hobbies like crocheting and inventing homemade beer, which he got ill from. He always enjoyed fishing, in which he was his own biggest catch, hooking himself right in the mouth, but it was a easy catch and release. Terry had a deep appreciation for history and a knack for trivia. Known for his jovial spirit, he delighted in teaching his grandchildren playful antics that they should not be doing and cherished the laughter they shared.

Possessed of an infectious joy and a talent for making others smile, Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
