Sue Houston

Carol Sue Houston, age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026. Sue was born on April 9, 1939, in Maysville, Oklahoma.

Sue was preceded in death by her father Caroll Moring, her mother Mary Bell Moring, her beloved husband of nearly 66 years Bob Houston, and her son Mike Houston. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her daughter Jan Houston, son-in-law Doug Oberklaus, and a cherished circle of family and friends.

A talented artist with a passion for gardening and boating, Sue found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Deeply devoted to her church community, she remained actively involved in her faith. She loved traveling and treasured the moments spent with her family, especially days on her houseboat at Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee. Known to many as "Sweet Sue," she was fearless and determined, always willing to take on any challenge. Sue had a warm heart and a welcoming spirit, never hesitating to reach out to anyone in need of a friend.
