Steve, 61, passed away on March 9, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Laura (nee Douglass) Brown; children, Steve "Richie" Jr (Heather), Caitlin, Matthew and Christopher; mother, Christine (nee Caudill); grandchildren, Andrea, Zoe, and Brody; two sisters, Malinda Pennington of Metamora, Indiana and Janice Carter of Eubank, Kentucky; brother-in-law to John (Karen) Douglass, Mollie and Nancy, Matt (Holly) Douglass; special great niece, Sophia; numerous nieces, nephews and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer; brother-in-law, Glenn Carter; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Peg Douglass; uncle and aunt, Steve and Ruby Dixon. Visitation on Tues, March 13 from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231. In lieu of flowers, donations to Moody Manor, 7150 Holatee Trail, Southwest Ranches, Florida 33330 or a charity of your choice. Graveside services to be held on Wednesday, March 14 at 2:00 pm at the Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg, Kentucky.
