Shirley A. Ruter

Shirley A. Ruter, aged 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on April 23, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1937, in Cincinnati, to Harry and Shirley Westerman (née Mortimer).

Shirley is reunited in heaven with her father, Harry Westerman; her mother, Shirley Westerman; her husband, Anthony Ruter; and her grandchild, Ronald Schille. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lisa Schille; her son, Anthony Ruter and his husband Michael Barsevich; grandchildren Samantha Schille and Britt Schille; daughter-in-law Hilary Schille; great-grandchildren Sydney Schille and William Schille; as well as a host of family and friends.

A cherished part of her life, Shirley enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones.

In accordance with the family's wishes, private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
