Sean L. Ortman-Tomlin

Sean L. Ortman-Tomlin, age 57, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on December 20, 2025. Born in Castro Valley, California, on December 14, 1968, he was the son of the late Leo Tomlin and Mary Ausborn (nee Chew).

Sean is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Sandy Ortman-Tomlin; his cherished daughter, Lyla Ortman-Tomlin; his sister, Jennifer (Jeremy) Parker; his mother-in-law, Geraldine Ortman; along with his sister-in-law, Denise (Fred) Harvey, brother-in-law, Eric (Rachel) Ortman, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends both near and far.

A Mass in loving memory of Sean will be held at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, located at 4366 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45211, at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, with a gathering from 9:30 AM until the start of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.

Sean had a passion for sports, proudly supporting the Oakland Raiders, later embracing the Las Vegas Raiders. He was a devoted fan of Bay Area sports and enjoyed an array of music, attending concerts with family and friends. Although he was proud of his California roots, he found a second home in Ohio. Sean was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local Union 212. Additionally, he was a proud dog dad to his two beloved puppies, Currie and Cali.

Sean was able to donate his corneas through Network for Hope giving the gift of sight to someone in need. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Sean and leave special messages for his family in the guestbook below. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
