Rosemary Gellenbeck

Rosemary Gellenbeck, aged 85, peacefully passed away on October 19, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Cincinnati on May 11, 1941, to Charles and Alma Gellenbeck (née Drury), she remained deeply connected to her roots throughout her life.

Preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary is lovingly remembered by her sister, Carolyn "Judy" (Thomas Sr.) Crotty; her nephews, Thomas Crotty, Jr., Patrick (Lily) Crotty, and Sean (Jane) Crotty; her niece, Erin Crotty; and cherished friend, Diane Parsons, along with numerous other family members and friends.

Rosemary was known for her love of reading, enjoying coffee, White Castle, and family gatherings. She adored her cats and dogs; and was a long-time member of St. Catherine of Siena for over 50 years. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29th from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm, located at Newcomer Funeral Home West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. A Mass will be held in her honor at 10:30 am on Friday, October 30, 2026, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
