Rosemarie A. Cates

On November 1, 2025, All Saints Day, our cherished wife, mother, Maw-Maw, sister, and best friend Rosemarie A. Cates (nee Costantino) passed away peacefully at the age of 76, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with a longtime illness. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 17, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of Frank and Rita Costantino (nee Butsha), both of whom preceded her in death.

Rosemarie leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, remembered fondly by her husband, Ron "Ronnie" L. Cates; her brother, Bob Costantino; her sister-in-law, Rita Costantino and good friend; her three sons, Christopher, Anthony, and Nicholas; and her treasured grandchildren: Sophia, Brandon, Olivia, Vinny, Joey, Gianna, TJ, along with a great-grandson expected to arrive in December.

Throughout her life, Rosemarie was celebrated for her warmth and hospitality. Her passion for entertaining and hosting family dinners filled homes with laughter and joy. She was especially known for her delicious French toast, her uplifting morning songs, and her radiant smile that could brighten any room.

The family invites all who knew and loved Rosemarie to join in honoring her memory. A Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Reception, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours, 3720 St. Martin Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM. There will be a private inurnment at St. Joseph New Cemetery at a later date.
