Rosa L. Simmons

Rosa Lee Simmons, born in Montgomery, AL on August 24 1947, to Marie Brown and Robert Simmons, Sr.. She graduated from Robert A. Taft High School, played softball for Cincinnati All Stars for four years. Retired from Duro Bag Co. which she worked thirty three years. She's gone to be with Marie Smith by marriage to Jodie D. Smith, Mary Alice Simmons, Robert Simmons, Jr. James Simmons Sr., Tyrone Smith, Willie D. Smith. Rosa leaves behind to cherish her memory is a daughter, Toni M. Simmons and son Jerrit D. Simmons and a host of nieces and nephews, Janet Simmons, Latrecia Reese, Mary A. Clemens, Jacquelyn Williams, Elliott Clemens, Tony Simmons, James M. Simmons, Tyrone Rucker, Jerome Rucker, 2 grandchildren, Deanna Simmons and Deasia Simmons, and a few dear friends, Gina Murphy, D. Brown known as D. B., Carol Ann Jesse Broach, Karole Williams. 

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45211. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm.
