Rosa I. Bolin

Rosa I. Bolin, aged 89, of Cincinnati, Ohio died peacefully in her home on January 17, 2026. Rosa, the fourth of twelve children, was born on April 15, 1936, in Whitely, Kentucky to her loving parents Ernest and Mary Cox (Bryant).

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest, her mother, Mary, six brothers, John, Ernest, Jr., Lee, Henry, Willard, and Everett, five sisters, Pauline, Irene, Nora, Vernice, and Sylvia, her husband, Leonard G. Bolin, and daughter, Dinah Boyce.

Rosa was blessed with five children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Her surviving children are Leslye Rohrkasse (James), Leonard G. Bolin, Jr., Sandra Rose, and Steven Bolin, her grandchildren; Jeffrey Matthews, Nikki Hill, R. Preston Hill, Megan Pennington, and Jessica L. Rohrkasse, Her great - grandchildren; Hunter Matthews, Gunnar Schmidt, Gabrielle Hill, Wyatt Hill, Austin Hill, and Shelby Hill.

All who knew her were blessed to observe a life lived with unwavering faith, extraordinary kindness, unconditional love, and devotion to family. A visitation will be held at the Newcomer Cremations - Funerals - Receptions West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 Tuesday January 27, 2026 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM followed by burial at Bridgetown Cemetery.
