Roland Zimmerman, passed away on June 2, 2026, in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on May 16, 1936, he lived a life marked by dedication, both to his faith and his family.
A graduate of Western Hills High School's class of 1954, Roland went on to work as a meat cutter at Kroger, serving faithfully for 38 years. His commitment to his craft and his work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. Roland was a follower of Christ and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Zimmerman (nee Hundley); his father, Leonard Zimmermann, Sr.; and his mother, Sylvia Zimmermann (nee Bell). His passing leaves behind those who cherished him dearly, including his son, Matt Zimmerman; his daughter, Becky (Perry) Hasselbeck; his brother, Leonard A. (Mary) Zimmermann; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor Roland’s memory will be held on June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Gardens, located at 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231. Family, friends, and all who knew Roland are invited to join in this final tribute to a man whose life was a testament to hard work, faith, and family bonds.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Roland's memory may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Roland Zimmerman’s legacy endures in the lives of those he touched and the community he served. His steadfast spirit and kind heart will be remembered with deep respect and affection.
