Robert M. Davis
Robert was born in Cheswold, Delaware in 1931. His mother was Cecilia Davis. He entered the Air Force at 18 years of age. He married his first wife, Marjorie Davis one year later while still in the service. They had one son, Scott Davis. Robert and Marjorie were married for 47 years and then Marjorie passed away. Scott moved to Arizona for college, lived there and remained single. Scott Davis passed away in 2021.
On July 4, 1999, Robert and Bonnie were married. Bonnie had 4 children, Michelle, Tony, Missy, and April; and 7 grandchildren, Rachael, Ashley, Samantha, Amanda, Victoria, Gillian, and Josie, at that time. Presently, there are 5 more grandchildren, Rebekah, Aubrey, Jeremiah, James, Logan, and 8 great grandchildren, Brayden, Hunter, Vivian, Samuel, Eleanor, Amelia, Elliott, and Kingston.
Bob loved cycling on the road and competing in time trials. Bob and Bonnie went riding on bike trails in the park. Bob was a ham radio operator with an FCC license and corresponded with many countries all over the world. He always had a radio tower antenna in the backyard. He learned to play several musical instruments, practiced many hours and was in several community orchestra and bands. He loved to go sailing. He had a beautiful sailboat docked on Brookville Lake, where we spent many weekends.
He was a loving, faithful husband. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He was a Clinical Engineer Technician at University Hospital, and retired from the Air National Guard Reserve after 22 years of service.
A visitation to honor Robert’s life will be held at Newcomer Cremations - Funerals - Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Elbeck Lane, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097, at 2:00 PM.
