Richard Schaefer Sr.

Richard Schaefer, 67, of Green Township, Ohio, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 29, 1957, to Roy and Phyliss Schaefer (nee Bernhardt).

Richard is remembered fondly by his loving mother, Phyliss Schaefer, and his two sons, Richard Schaefer, Jr. and Ryan Schaefer. He also leaves behind his brother Rob (Barb) Schaefer and a cherished group of grandchildren: Richard Schaefer, III, Kimberlyn Schaefer, Amberlyn Schaefer, and Raleigh Schaefer, along with numerous other family members and friends.

A passionate motorcycle enthusiast and a lover of trains, Richard was a true family man whose grandchildren were the light of his life. Known as a gentle giant, he had a special place in his heart for his Harleys, cars, tattoos and jewelry.

A service celebrating Richard's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
