Rebeca Morales Bernardo

With deep sadness, we share that Rebeca Morales Bernardo, 43 years old, passed away on June 11, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a courageous 18-month battle with lung cancer.

Rebeca was a loving, generous, and strong woman, deeply cherished by her family and community. It was her and her family’s wish that she be laid to rest in her beloved homeland: Guatemala.

She is survived by her children:

• Roberth (Cincinnati, OH)

• Nayeli (Guatemala)

Her siblings:

• Carmen, Amanda, and Eliseo (Guatemala)

• Veronica, Otoniel, and Emerson (Cincinnati, OH)

And her parents:

• Enrique Morales and María Bernardo (Guatemala)

There will be a visitation at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 on Saturday July 5, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM.

Con profunda tristeza, compartimos que Rebeca Morales Bernardo, de 43 años, falleció el pasado 11 de junio de 2025en el hospital El Buen Samaritano en Cincinnati, Ohio, después de una valiente lucha de 18 meses contra el cáncer pulmonar.

Rebeca fue una mujer luchadora, generosa, y profundamente amada por su familia y comunidad. Su deseo, y el de sus seres queridos, es que pueda descansar en paz en su tierra natal: Guatemala.
