Phylis Werle-Clark

Phylis Werle-Clark, age 74, of Cheviot, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Born on August 27, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Phylis was the cherished daughter of Philip and Albina Werle (née Schoene).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Albina Werle, and her brother, Joey Werle. Phylis is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 26 years, Mike Clark; her children, John (Stacey) Laug, Melissa Metz, and Michelle (Tyler) Martin; her siblings, John Werle, Linda Miller, Rosie Murry, Mary Werle, and Johnie Burns; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Phylis had a passion for the arts and was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting and crafts. She also loved playing golf and softball, and she and Mike shared many joyful moments playing pool together. Her affection for her two little dogs was well known among family and friends. Phylis was a kind and generous spirit who touched many lives with her willingness to help others at any time.
