Penelope Turner

Penelope Turner, known to many as Penny, passed away peacefully at home in Sparta, Kentucky on December 27, 2025. She was born on February 14, 1948, in Madison, Indiana.

Penny had a passion for crafting and enjoyed watching television.

She leaves behind her daughter, Michelle (James) Anderson, and her son, Michael Smith. Penny was also a proud grandparent to William R. (Gabrielle) Anderson, III, and a great-grandmother to Echo Anderson. She is also survived by her sister, Tracy.

Penny was preceded in death by her father, Raymond "Pete" Lichlyter, her mother, Martha Lichlyter (nee Smith), and her sister, Ramona.
