Penelope "Penny" Ann Herbert

Penelope "Penny" Ann Herbert, age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. Born on January 3, 1951, in Cincinnati, she was the cherished daughter of Berman S. and Madeline M. Penley (née Dinuzzo).

Penny was predeceased by her parents, her sister Madeline, and her brother Johnny. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 54 years, Timothy Herbert, her children Tim Jr., Carmen (Shelby), and Angel Herbert, and her grandchildren Kaylee, Wyatt, CJ Jr., Draven, Ryley, Carson, and Dominic. She also leaves behind her siblings Berman Jr., Tony, Charles (Raymele), and Debbie (Otis) Dick, along with many cherished family members and friends.

Penny was known for her vibrant passion for music, often sharing her beloved collection of 45s. An accomplished author with a book available on Amazon, she delighted in dancing and had a deep love for animals, often feeding them and nurturing their wellbeing. Her warm and welcoming nature meant she never met a stranger, and her strong faith and love for her family were central to her life. A devoted Cincinnati Reds fan, Penny's culinary talents ensured no one ever left her home hungry.

Visitation will take place Monday, September 28, 2026, from 10:00 am until the funeral ceremony at 12:00 pm, located at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Old Cemetery.
