Patricia A. Simpson

Patricia A. Simpson, aged 82, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026. Born on July 7, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Donald J. and Dorothy Purcell (née Hahn).

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary S. Simpson, her parents, and her sister, Jean Purcell. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters Lisa (Craig) Ballard, Sherrie (DeWayne) Terrell, and Rebecca (Vinnie) Beebe. She was a devoted grandmother to Chris, Seth (Megan), Noah, Matthew, Jesse, Nathaniel (Jessica), Samantha (Joe), and Kayla. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Isabella, Kinsley, Crue, Oliver, Xavier, Jaime, Alexandra, Mason, Spencer, and Abby. Patricia is also survived by her brother, James (Kathy) Purcell, and numerous friends and extended family.

Patricia was a dedicated licensed practical nurse who found great joy in caring for her patients. Her compassion extended to her church, where she actively participated in community outreach. Known for her love of shopping and dining out, Patricia was a vibrant presence who made friends wherever she went.
