Patricia Ann McGannon

Patricia Ann McGannon, aged 78, of Covington, Kentucky,  was a devout member of the Lutheran Church and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 14, 1948, she was the cherished daughter of Woodrow Foster and Betty Jean Weber.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William George McGannon, and her parents, Woodrow Foster and Betty Jean Weber. Beloved Nephew Anthony (Tamra) Vardys, brother in law Burkett W. Griffiths.

She leaves behind her loving son, William Hartmann and his wife Amy, her dear sisters Jackie Griffiths, Margie Williamson, and Judy Dawson, Nephew, George M. Vardys and his 5 Children, and Tony's and Tamra's 2 Children, along with her stepdaughter, Mary Burson, and many other treasured family members and friends.

Pat's life was filled with passions and joys, including attending the Derby, enjoying shows at the Aronoff Theater, and traveling. She often spoke with pride of her son and was especially proud of her sister, SSG Margie Williamson, who honorably served for 22 and a half years as a chief combat medic.

Patricia also cherished her date nights with her husband William, creating beautiful memories together, They were married on January 16, 1998

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral ceremony at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
