Norleen Ethel Wischer (Hart), age 65, a devoted wife and mother, passed away on December 11, 2025.
Norleen entered the world on November 4, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was raised by her mother, Norma Neal Patrick, and her stepfather, Eugene R. Patrick, who helped shape her into the fiercely independent, determined, and strong-willed woman she became-truly hell on wheels, never allowing anything to stand in her way.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Smith, and her two children, Brittany P. Wischer and Sean A. Wischer. Norleen was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Eugene Patrick, and her beloved sister, Eugenia Davit.
Norleen was known for her lively conversation and never knew a stranger. She loved to celebrate life and enjoy any chance to gather with family and friends. If there was a reason to celebrate, she was all in. Norleen dedicated her life to finding joy in the people she chose as family. Wherever life took her, she had a remarkable ability to build a home and create warmth, comfort, and belonging. She was always willing to help others in times of need, offering strength, words of encouragement, and an open heart. Norleen always knew how to turn up the music and enjoy the moment. Even though life tested her often, she refused to break and beat down any obstacle standing in her way. Norleen's story reminds us of the importance of compassion, growth, and healing.
Though she is gone from our sight, Norleen remains forever in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived boldly, Loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten, for those we love never truly leave us; they live on in every memory, every laugh, and every heart they touched.
