Mitchell James Smith

Mitchell James Smith, 64, born November 20, 1960 to Philip Mitchell and Joan K. Smith, passed away from health complications due to a brief illness on Thursday, May 15th 2025.

Mitch is survived by his two children Alex Smith and Emily Smith (Michael Townsley), recent grandson Miles Townsley, devoted mother to their children, Lisa Smith, and his sister Jenny (Glynn) Pope.

If you knew Mitch, you knew he was a friend to many. He was exceptionally skilled in his work and was the guy to get a good job done. As a follower of Christ, we know he is now resting peacefully and eternally in heaven.

A celebration of life to honor Mitch with friends and family will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Niche, 3030 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211
