Michelle Marie Wolfe

Michelle Marie Wolfe, aged 68, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away on July 12, 2026, surrounded by her children after a brave battle with cancer. Born on March 27, 1958, in Covington, Kentucky, Michelle was the beloved daughter of Elmer and Marie Herzog (nee Duffner).

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lenny Herzog. She is survived by her cherished daughters: Tara (Eric) Tully, Traci Bitter, Tiffany Wolfe, Taylor Wolfe, and Trista Wolfe. Michelle's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Chase, Ryan, Aubrey, Michael, Dustin, Abby, Rylee, Josie, Chyanne, Michael Jr., Blaine, and Mason. She also leaves behind her sister, Chris (George) Russell, brother, Terry (MaryAnn) Herzog, and numerous family members and friends.

Michelle was a proud graduate of La Salette High School who devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She worked in the school cafeteria for several years and generously volunteered at her children's schools, but her greatest calling was her family. She found her greatest happiness in caring for her grandchildren, and the time she spent with them was the greatest joy of her life. Michelle will be remembered for her loving heart, warm smile, wonderful sense of humor, quiet strength, and selfless spirit. The love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Augustine Catholic School, please put "C/O Michelle Wolfe". Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10 am to 11 am, followed by a memorial mass at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, 1839 Euclid Ave, Covington, KY 41014.
