MC Roundtree, age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1940, in Whitley City, Kentucky, to Thomas and Stella Roundtree (nee Roe).
MC was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Helen Roundtree; his parents, Thomas and Stella Roundtree; and his siblings Rosette, Lester, Gladys, Arnold, Roger, James, Doyle, and Tom. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted partner, Camilla Patton; nephew, Tim Roundtree; step-son, Nicholas Radel; step-daughter, Ella M. Radel; grandchildren Jimmi (Mike) Riga, Gregory A. Brown III, Allie Eshman, Katie Eshman, Isaac Hutchinson, Elijah Hutchinson, and Gregory A. Brown IV; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a broad circle of family and friends.
Throughout his career, MC worked as a machinist foreman, skillfully operating a variety of machines, tools, and dyes. He took great joy in woodworking, home repairs, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially enjoying watching his grandchildren participate in sports. MC also cherished camping trips to Indiana with family and friends and had a passion for karaoke, delighting those around him with his renditions of classic country songs.
In loving memory of MC, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. A funeral ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. This will be followed by a graveside service at St. Joseph Old Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Family, friends, and all who knew MC are invited to share memories and leave messages of condolence through the guestbook as a tribute to his life and legacy.
