Mary S. Lyons

Mary S. Lyons, age 84, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025. Born on March 6, 1941, in Van, West Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of Grady and Effie Wright.

Mary is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Grady and Effie Wright, and her siblings: Jimmie, Tommy, Dean, Jack, Chalky Wright, along with her sisters Betty Cook, Helen Davis, Geniva Farrell, and Shirley Sargent.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Jill M. Lyons, as well as her grandchildren: Mike Lyons, Katelyn Oliver, Becca Lyons, and Matthew Lyons. Mary also delighted in the company of her great-grandchildren: Josh, Abigail, and Hayden Lyons. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Patsy (Dave) Gogas, along with a network of extended family and friends who will remember her warmth and kindness.

Mary had a passionate love for crafts and was dedicated to remodeling her home to reflect the latest trends. However, it was her family that brought her the greatest joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
