The love and laughter that filled their home shaped Mary Lou into the vibrant person she became.
Mary Lou’s legacy is primarily reflected in her family, whom she adored with all her heart. She is survived by her cherished sons, Larry (Beth) Heidemann and Ron (Stephanie) Heidemann, and her loving daughter, Jane (Ed) Butler. Each moment spent with her children was a testament to her dedication as a mother, her proudest accomplishment being the love she fostered within her family. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to Patrick Butler and Megan (Brian) Schwankhaus, and she was ever proud to be a great-grandmother to Griffin Schwankhaus, who brought a sparkle to her eye and warmth to her heart.
Mary Lou’s personality was as vibrant as the music she loved. Her fondness for Elvis and her passion for dancing were infectious, and her laughter could light up any room. In her younger years, she spent many sunny days enjoying her time by the pool, adding to the joyful memories collected throughout her life.
