Mary (also known as “Tush” to her family and “Mary Mary” to her Model-T Club friends) lived her life to the fullest. Mary was always on the go and her love of driving kept her “running around” until her final day on earth. Mary was a master cookie baker who loved to share her delicious creations with not only everyone in her inner circle, but with all others she encountered during her daily walks of life. Mary passed her love for baking down through the generations and her meatball recipe remains a guarded secret to this day. Mary was known for her kindness and generosity towards all with a special compassion for children and animals. Mary loved the years she spent on her farm in Bethel and she yearned to return to the peace and comfort of simpler times. Mary’s spirit will be missed by many, but in her words, her soul lives on “in a better place”.
