Marjorie L. Gaines

Marjorie L. Gaines, age 93, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026. Born on April 4, 1932, to Earl and Susan Sullivan (nee Nichols) in Burlington, Marjorie led a fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, William "Bill" G. Gaines. Marjorie is survived by her loving son, Steven M. (Polly) Gaines; daughters, Pamela K. Gaines and Patricia C. Gaines; grandchildren, Shawn (Megan) Goodridge, Steven (Stacey) Berry, Stephanie Berry, Amanda (Robert) Holsclaw; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Berry, Sarah Griffith, Hunter Allen, Madeline McDaniel, Shawn Goodridge, Jr., Ember Raye Berry, great great grandchildren, William Gregory and Piper Gregory and Harley James, along with other cherished family members and friends.

Marjorie had a passion for crocheting and was actively involved in the Eastern Star during her earlier years. She lovingly cared for her grandchildren and was devoted to her faith, having served as a Sunday school teacher and Deacon at Bullitsville Christian Church. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family.

In her memory, contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospitals. A funeral ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 12:30 PM, preceded by a visitation from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
