Marilyn L. Fritz, aged 97, of Cheviot, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was born on May 25, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to George and Alma Young (née Grishey).

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Fritz; her parents, George and Alma Young, her brother, George Young; and her sisters, Stella Henderson, Janet Young, Geraldine Pauley, and Caroline Franklin. She is lovingly survived by her cherished children: Terry (Irene) Fritz, Mark Fritz, and Cindy (Jeff) Jacobs; her sister, Betty Courter; grandchildren Christopher Jacobs, Rick Fritz, Amanda Benevengo, and Joett Greiwe; and great-grandchildren Austin Benevengo, Peyton Fritz, Garrett Fritz, Lily Greiwe, Lauren Greiwe, Evan Greiwe, and Ethan Greiwe, along with many other dear family members and friends.

Throughout her life, Marilyn shared a deep love for dogs and enjoyed various crafts such as needlework, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She contributed her talents to dress alterations at Pogues and was actively involved in the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, earning multiple den leadership awards. Marilyn dedicated over 41 years serving in the cafeteria at Oak Hills Schools, where she made a meaningful impact by ensuring many young people always had something to eat. She also found joy in bird watching and feeding birds, and she delighted in spoiling her grandchildren.

Marilyn’s life was marked by kindness, creativity, and dedication to her family and community. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew her.
