Lynda Karen Agee

Lynda Karen Agee, a vibrant spitfire who brightened the world around her, passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 71 in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on July 24, 1953, in Covington, Kentucky, Lynda brought joy and laughter to everyone she met throughout her remarkable life.

With a career that spanned over three decades, Lynda made her mark as a dedicated circuit court clerk at the Boone County courthouse, following an earlier stint with KSP driver's testing in Kenton County. Her professionalism and zest for life served as an inspiration to her colleagues and friends.

Lynda's greatest joys, however, transcended her career. She was a woman of many interests, with a love for horses and a spirited involvement in a local softball league during her younger years. Adventure was in her blood; whether it was traveling the world or soaking up the sun in Acapulco, Lynda embraced life to the fullest. Back home, she found simple pleasures in indulging in Diet Coke and Cheeto Puffs, all while delighting in episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger.

Family was at the heart of Lynda's life; she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Lynda is survived by her loving daughters, Franki (Jason) Boswell and Christina (Tyler Smith) Agee, as well as her treasured grandchildren Brylee Glaser, Callie Smith, Keegan Smith, and Christian Smith. She is also mourned by her dear sister, Ginny Horton, and sister-in-law, Sharon Saxon, along with a host of other family members and friends who were fortunate to know her warmth and spirit.

Lynda was predeceased by her beloved husband, Steve Agee, with whom she shared 31 wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Louella Vannarsdall (nee Callaghan) and Lamar Marksberry, and her brother-in-law, Jerry Saxon, as well as sister-in-law, Gloria Jean Saxon.

Join us in celebrating Lynda's life at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky. Visitation will begin on June 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service. Though she may no longer be with us, Lynda's spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts and memories.
