**Obituary for Louis "Walt" W. Bell**

Louis "Walt" W. Bell, age 88, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Born on April 6, 1937, in New Vienna, Ohio, Walt was the cherished son of Harold T. and Helen L. Bell (nee Current).

Walt is survived by his son, Vincent L. (Linda) Bell; his daughter, Vicki A. (Steve) Overstake; sons, Tim (Denise) Bell and Richard (Andrea) Bell; as well as 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, alongside one great-great-grandchild. He is also remembered by his stepdaughters, Stephanie Ezell and Sandra Ezell Mollohhan, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his loving wife, Carol Ezell-Bell; his father, Harold T. Bell; and his mother, Helen L. Bell. A son, Harold D. Bell, and by a great grandson Saylor Leonti and great great grandson Granger Beau-lee Kelley.

Walt dedicated much of his life to his passions and community. He was a lifetime member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association and served as a member and sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous for over 40 years. Additionally, he had the honor of serving in the Ohio National Guard from 1958 to 1966.
