Lisa Marie Soult, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, peacefully transitioned from this world on November 10, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born in Covington, Kentucky on April 21, 1968, Lisa's life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones.
From the moment she embraced motherhood, Lisa poured her heart into raising her children, Shae and Matthew. They fondly remember her relentless dedication to ensuring they were raised right, instilling values that would guide them throughout their lives. Her legacy is encapsulated in their pride, as they reflect on the profound impact she had on them. It was not just about parenting; it was the love and support she provided, making every moment count.
Lisa’s spirited personality shone brightly in everything she did. She lived with a beautiful soul, a loving heart, and an indomitable spirit, even as she fought a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis for 35 years. Lisa cared deeply for those around her, always striving to bring happiness and comfort to others, even in her own moments of suffering. Her compassion and strength were a guiding light not only for her family but for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Her love for the outdoors and special trips to Brookville Beach with her children brought her great joy. Beyond these treasured outings, Lisa found delight in simple pleasures: chatting on the phone, engaging in friendly competitions on Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Family Feud, and enjoying her favorite foods like Grippos, pickles, and Frisch’s Big Boy. Christmas was a season Lisa cherished deeply. She eagerly gathered her children to decorate their home festively, reveling in the joy of watching every Christmas movie available, as they created warm memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.
Lisa's family remained her proudest accomplishment. In addition to her children, Shae (Eric) Clem and Matthew (Donna) Gegner, she leaves behind a vibrant lineage that includes grandchildren Madison, Matthew Jr., Kendra, Blake, Abigail, Matthew, Maci Grace, Maleia, Marissa, and Kashton, as well as great-grandchildren Brandon Jr. and Aria. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she celebrated their lives with immense joy and love.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Deborah Soult (née Griggs), siblings Angela, Michael, Danelle, and Robert (Taylor) Soult, and the father of her children and close friend, Matthew (Faith) Gegner, along with a host of other family members and friends who will remember her kindness and love.
Lisa is predeceased by her father, Michael Glenn Soult. The love that Lisa cultivated throughout her life will remain as a source of comfort and inspiration to those she left behind.
Visitation will be held on November 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018. As we celebrate Lisa's remarkable life, we do so with heavy hearts but grateful spirits, remembering the cherished memories and enduring love she gifted us all.
