Linda Sue Troxell, 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was born in Richmond, Kentucky on November 14, 1946 to Stanley and Edna Dozier (nee Spivey).
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Ron, and her siblings, Robert Brown, Betty Farmer, Stella Hensley, Barbara Koutas and Judy Miller.
Linda is survived children, Ty A (Tammy) Troxell, Todd A Troxell and Troy A (Denise Fenwick) Troxell. She is the grandmother of Brittany (Doug) Frey, Travis A (Kelsey) Troxell, Alexis (Dylan) Hamblin, Hannah Korb, Tieren, Theorie, Takoda, and Tank Troxell. The grandkids referred to her with a loving nickname-Grandma 'Moke. Linda is the great grandmother of Jaeleigh, Presley and Weston Frey and Areilla Hamblin and Sutton Troxell. Linda has many nieces and nephews and leaves behind other family members and friends.
Linda was a nurses aide, spending most of her time at West Park Care Center. She dearly loved her family. She was selfless, always taking care of others. She was never fake-nothing was sugar coated. Always had a riddle or special saying. In her free time, Linda was a thrift store shopper, always looking for bargains, especially at Halloween and Christmas time. Craft shows and local places like Metamora, Brown County and Little Nashville were among her favorites.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
