Lawrence "Larry" C. Myers Jr.

Lawrence “Larry” C. Myers, aged 85, of Amelia, Ohio, went home to his savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Born on December 16, 1940, in Kingsport, Tennessee, Larry was the beloved son of Lawrence and Amanda Myers (nee Neely).

He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Judy Myers (nee Walker); his son Michael Lawrence Myers and wife Ginney; grandchildren Michael Dylan Myers and Nicole, Austin Blake Myers; daughters Trisha Kay Phillips and Denise Michelle Kotzbauer; grandchildren Brianna Raelene Kotzbauer and Brooklyn Sierra Kotzbauer; great-grandchildren Kaylee Clevenger and Lennix Myers; as well as many other cherished family members and friends.

Larry had a deep love for golfing and reading. He was a loyal member of Batavia Baptist Temple, where he treasured his church family. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals and cherished the time spent with his loved ones. Known for his intelligence, kindness, and great sense of humor, Larry was a loving husband, father, and a proud and caring grandfather.

“You’ve been my dude for 34 years,” a testament to the enduring bond he shared with his wife.
