Kenneth L. Shell

Kenneth L. Shell, age 71, of Burlington, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Born in Covington, Kentucky on August 1, 1953, he was the cherished son of Albert and Dorothy Shell (nee Crawford).

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Albert Shell, and mother, Dorothy Shell. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Shirley A. Shell (nee Lowe); three devoted sons, Ken L. Shell, Jr., Aaron P. Shell, and Daniel S. Shell; a loving grandson, Drew Shell; along with his brothers, Jim Shell and Jerry Shell; his sister, Pam (C.L.) Byrd; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A man of many passions, Kenneth found joy in gardening, caring for his horses and cows, and all aspects of farm life. He was a devoted member of Faith Independent Baptist Church, where he embraced his faith wholeheartedly, reading his Bible every day. Kenneth was a loving father and husband, and his family was everything to him.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, with visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
