Kathleen Gilbert

Kathleen Gilbert, age 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Born on December 17, 1931, in Cincinnati to Anthony and Hazel Kleeman (née Hallau), Kathleen lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Kleeman; mother, Hazel Kleeman; husband, Robert Gilbert; and brother, Kenneth Kleeman. Kathleen is lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Gail; brothers Karl (Kathy) Kleeman and Kary (Bonnie) Kleeman; sister Karen (the late Richard) Kuhr; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Kathleen had a deep affection for cats and treasured family gatherings. Known for her thoughtful nature, she never missed an important occasion, always remembering birthdays and anniversaries with a heartfelt card. Each Christmas, Kathleen joyfully took her family out to dinner, creating warm memories that will be cherished. Her strong faith and kindness touched all who knew her, reflecting a life committed to valuing and honoring all living beings.

In loving memory of Kathleen, contributions may be made to any animal shelter of choice.

Mass of Chirstian Burial will take place, Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10 AM, at Our lady of the Vastation Church, with a visitation at 9 AM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
