Listen to Obituary

June Perry, born Meeker, graced this world with her vibrant spirit on September 8, 1928, in Covington, Kentucky. After a life well-lived, she passed peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, on September 23, 2025, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

June was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her friendly and outgoing personality. She was a fiery soul who dedicated her life to helping others, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Her zest for life was evident in her many interests; she loved going to the casino, cherishing trips to the Smoky Mountains and Florida, and enjoying leisurely days at Coney Island and the pool during her childhood. Shopping brought her joy, as did the time she spent making memories with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends going out to eat and trying different foods. June was an avid lover of music, often listening to Frank Sinatra and Elvis.

Truly a family woman at heart, some of June's proudest accomplishments lay in the love she shared with her family, especially her brothers and sisters who had passed before her. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Tracy (Fred) Hamilton, and her beloved son, Scott Perry. The light of her life continued through her grandchild, Stefanie Hamilton. June also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Ed Divine, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends, all of whom were touched by her generosity and spirit.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter Perry, along with her father, Albert Meeker, and mother, Loretta Meeker (nee Moss). She was welcomed into eternity alongside her dear siblings: Alma Requardt, Dorothy Mara, Delores Meeker, JoAn Divine, Albert Meeker, Jr., Bill Meeker, Don Meeker, and Gary Meeker, as well as her sister-in-law, Barbara Meeker.

June Perry's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering friendship will forever echo in the hearts of those she has left behind. Her exuberant spirit and the warmth she brought to everyone around her will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
