Joshua Lee Blackburn

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joshua Lee Blackburn, age 36, of Florence, Kentucky, who departed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Joshua was born on March 27, 1989, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, to Tracy L. and Yvonne M. Kennedy (nee Rollins).

Joshua was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Anna Gayle. He is survived by his cherished spouse Marion Blackburn (nee Long), and his loving children: Zachary L. Blackburn, Jacob A. Blackburn, and Carson S. Blackburn. He is also survived by his father Tracy L. (Shelley) Blackburn; his mother Yvonne M. (Chris) Kennedy, mother Valerie (Raymond) Cook; brothers Johnathon E. Blackburn, Sebastian Wischer, and Joseph Wischer; sisters Angela N. Curtain, Andrea S. Powell, Catherine Wischer, and Tara Wischer; as well as his mother-in-law Vickie (Gary) Long, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Joshua was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his children. He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. Additionally, he loved barbecuing and smoking meat, bringing joy and flavor to gatherings with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
