John Jerome Desmond III

John Jerome Desmond, age 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati on November 25, 1953, to John Jerome and Audrey Claire Desmond (nee Byers).

John is preceded in death by his father, John Jerome Desmond Jr., and his mother, Audrey Claire Desmond. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Sandra Kay Desmond (nee Brown); his sister, Michelle (Michael) Westerfield; his nephew, Zachary John Westerfield; his niece, Maggie Elizabeth Westerfield; his nephews, Ricky Brown and Darren Brown; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews. He leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

John was baptized on November 12, 1983, as a Jehovah's witness. A man of passions, John had a profound love for German Shepherd dogs and enjoyed the music of The Beatles. He had a special fondness for sport cars, and most importantly, he treasured the time spent with his family and loved his mother dearly. John dedicated over 40 years of his life to his security job, where he found much fulfillment.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
