Jimmie passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Mercy Hospice Western Hills. He was born on May 10, 1921 in Pickens County, AL to Walter Lavender and Louvenia Lavender.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren. Jimmie will be missed by a host of family and friends.
Funeral service for Jimmie Lavender, age 91 of Cincinnati, will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. Rev. Jerome Byrd will Officiate. Burial will follow in the Vine Street Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel.
