James J. Sabelhaus Sr. age 88, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 7, 1938 to William J. and Rosemary Sabelhaus (nee Scholz).

He was preceded in death by his Parents, William J. and Rosemary (Scholz) Sabelhaus, Wife, Mary Jane (Burgess) Sabelhaus, Granddaughter, Amber Reynolds.

He is survived by his Children, Susan Reynolds, Melissa Messmer, and James (Linda) Sabelhaus, Jr., Grandchildren, Tony (Judy) Reynolds, Christopher (Amy) Reynolds, Shane Reynolds, Jacob (Haley) Messmer, Abigail Messmer, David (Amanda) Sabelhaus, Andrew J. (Chelsea) Sabelhaus, Caitlin (Cory) Hartman, Great grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Lillian, Emma, Maddie, Marcus, David, Haily, Archer, Max, Reese, Palmer, Carra, and a host of other family members and friends.

James loved sports, boating, camping and spending time with his family.

Service's will be held at the convenience of the family.
