Born on July 19, 1935, in McKinny, Kentucky, Jim lived a long and meaningful life marked by hard work, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He was happiest when surrounded by nature, whether casting a line into a favorite fishing spot, sitting patiently in a deer stand, or simply enjoying the beauty and peace of the great outdoors.
A devoted husband, he shared many wonderful years with his beloved wife, Gladys who preceded him in death. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories.
He was a proud and loving father to his two daughters, Nikki (Joe Bischak) Ruter and Vikki (Karan) Singh, who will forever cherish his guidance, wisdom, and love.
He took immense pride in watching his family grow.
Those who knew Jim will remember his love of fishing, hunting, and the simple pleasures of life. He taught by example the values of patience, perseverance, and respect for nature. His stories, gentle humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
