He was born March 20, 1923 in Jenson, Kentucky, the son of William and Bertha (Ellis) Woods.
Herbert is survived by wife; Gloria Faye Woods, children; William Woods, Joseph David Woods, Herbert A. Woods and Katherine Woods-Goodwin. Herbert will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.
