Hazel Marie Goins

Hazel Marie Goins, age 87, of Crittenden, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Born at home, under the care of a midwife, in Corbin, Kentucky on January 7, 1938.

Hazel was preceded in death by parents, James and Nora Hensley (nee Golden) husband, Omer Goins; and grandson, Jimmy Petrey. She is survived by children; Cecil (Patty Ballinger) Goins, Kathy (Allen) Woodring and Cindy (Kelly) Dennie. Sister, Nora June Totten. Grandchildren: Nathan Goins, Joshua Dusing, Greg Woodring, Holly (Ryan) DuBois, Zack Ballinger, Caleb Ballinger, along with a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Marie had a vibrant spirit and enjoyed many activities, including playing bingo, visiting casinos, and spending treasured time with her family and friends.

In memory of Hazel, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Interment will be at Turner Ridge Cemetery, along side her husband.
