Haskel Eugene Gibbs

Haskel Eugene Gibbs, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born in Mt Sterling, Kentucky on January 11, 1938 to the late Sylvester and Hattie Gibbs (nee ).

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carol, and his Brothers and Sisters, Elmer Gibbs, Geraldine Mantini, William Gibbs, Irene Gourley, Elsie Thurston, Opal Ellis, Roger Gibbs, Clayton Gibbs, Daniel Gibbs, Mary Hunt, and Grandsons, Kevin R. and Keith A. Skaggs.

Haskel is survived by his children, Susan J. (Tom) Skaggs, Darrell E. (Donna) Gibbs, Kenneth (Mary) Gibbs, Kathy A. (Joseph) Bonomini, Grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Michael, Matthew, Mark, Joseph, Kelsey, Rebecca, Gregory, and Bradley. Also 15 Great Grandchildren. His Brothers and Sisters, Glenn Gibbs, Gilbert Gibbs, Bertha Smith, Wanda Schultz; and a host of other family members and friends.

Haskel enjoyed hunting and fishing, tractor shows. He belonged to the Franklin County Antique Tractor Association. He was an avid golfer and anything to do with the outdoors. The joys of his life at this time were his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and he looked forward to being reunited with the love of his life, Carol.

Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 3, 2023 with a visitation from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
