Greg T. Becker

Gregory Thomas Becker, age 60, of Cincinnati, Ohio, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati on February 12, 1965.

Greg is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Bernice Becker (nee Harding), father, Thomas Becker, and best friend, Terry Ballman. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Diane Becker (nee Saul); daughters McKenzie and Morgan (Atrayue) Becker; grandson Onyx Savage; sister Susan (Brian) Miller; brother Mike (Amy) Becker; nephews Ryan, Matthew (Tori), Scott, and Kyle Becker, as well as a host of other family members and friends.

Greg was known for his selflessness and determination, dedicating his life to serving others with unwavering passion. His love for his family was immense, and he cherished the recent title of grandpa. Greg was the pillar of support for his wife and daughters and always ready to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

With a distinguished career spanning 39 years as a social worker, Greg made a lasting impact in the lives of countless families. He was a dedicated advocate for children's rights and welfare, always standing up for those in need.

Greg had many interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed playing tennis and pickleball, cheering for the Bengals and Reds, and supporting FCC soccer. His love for Christmas was unlike any other often earning him the playful title of "Clark Griswold." He cherished time spent at Cottage Park, especially during the 4th of July celebrations. He loved to grill and loved to work outdoors with Diane. He enjoyed going to the zoo with his family. Greg took pride in his award-winning chili. A true Westsider, he made friends effortlessly and was never known to shy away from sharing a story.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. A celebration of his life will take place at Cheviot Gardens, 3621 Glenmore Ave Cincinnati, OH 45211 immediately following after the Funeral Ceremony.
